Advice needed
Sometimes the beads seem to choose themselves. Sometimes they just don't want to cooperate. We're not sure about this one. The colours in this photo are pretty much spot on (on our monitor). Would love to hear what you all think. Is it the yellow that's just not strong enough? Hmmmm....

When I first saw it, I thought "WOW!" I read your thought about the yellow, and then thought, hmmm maybe it needs to be more vibrant, but then I thought it may detract away from the focus beads if it is, so my final answer is that it's perfect as is! I especially love the tiny red beads. Making the yellow brighter would also take away the little pop that these give. LOVE it!!
ReplyDeleteI don't have a good eye for colour I'm afraid. I do however think that the paler yellow row is a good compliment to the brighter yellow in the focus beads.
ReplyDeleteThere's nothing at all wrong with it! It's lovely! I wouldn't want to change a thing!
ReplyDeleteI like the yellow. I would like to see what it looks like in the edge row...with the lime green...instead of the dark green there. And perhaps move the dark green down to the yellow row...alternating with yellow there? The red/orange perfect! It's the matchyness of the greens that bother me...not the yellow. The yellow and red are just shouting FUN and the greens are getting along too well to have as much fun. But, overall I do enjoy it...and can't wait to see what your mind decides!
