Three Cheers for Mr. CoCo

This is the long weekend that kicks off the summer season here in the Kingdom and, as usual, the countryside is alive with garage and yard sales. We know many people find these sales appealing but we generally avoid them lest we find ourselves in an episode of Hoarders.

However, this morning after his tennis game, Mr. CoCo found himself with time on his hands and a yard sale beckoning. He moseyed over to see what was on offer. This is what he brought home:

For all of $5. including the storage container. Hail the conquering hero! It's full of quilting cotton! and some of it still sports price stickers from a local (now out-of-business) quilt shop.

Even Cassie was impressed.

  1. Wow! I'm impressed with Mr. Coco. Can I borrow him to train Mr. ZQ? It might take a while. And it's not just fabric - it's pretty fabric to boot!

  2. Amazing that all of that including the storage tin went for just $5.00. So sweet that Mr. Coco bought it for you.

  3. What a great find! Once not so long ago, I asked for fabric or yarn as a gift on my christmas list... When Mr Snippy saw that he said (and I will never forget these words) "Going into a fabric or yarn shop is worse than standing at a grocery store cashier with a box of tampons to pay for!" Now I know to never expect fabric from him... You have a treasure in Mr. Coco...
